Statues of Ilona

One of the most famous folk heroes in halfing culture is Ilona, who spent her lifetime adventuring. Around three centuries ago, the sculptor Styren Ilbe created seven statues depicting scenes from her adventures. Each statue is made of solid gold, and stand about a foot high. The statues have Styren’s maker’s mark on the bottom. Amryn Tassleburn, the wealthy owner of The Laughing Halfing in Truffleton, is trying to collect all of the statues.

The Statues
Ilona Leaves Home – depicts Ilona walking in common clothes, carrying a knapsack on her shoulder. This statue is currently in Amryn’s possession, displayed behind the bar at the Laughing Halfling.
Ilona Kidnapped By Goblins – depicts Ilona being carried by a group of goblins. Current whereabouts unknown.
Ilona Finds Lifesaver – depicts Ilona holding her legendary magic dagger, Lifesaver, and testing it. Last known whereabouts: in Ingangald, in one of the mines near Mastershall.
Ilona Robs the Dragon – depicts Ilona filling a sack from a mound of treasure. Current whereabouts unknown.
Ilona Rides The Pegasus – depicts Ilona laughing, on the back of a pegasus in flight. This statue is currently in Amryn’s possession, displayed behind the bar at the Laughing Halfling.
Ilona Rescues The Prince – depicts Ilona tending to an unconcious halfling prince, resting Lifesaver on his chest. Current whereabouts unknown.
Ilona the Queen – depicts Ilona crowned, jeweled, and sitting on a throne. This statue was retrieved from the Palace of Obara on Lucarus by Sniffer, Yrik, Jamin, and Krisella, and it is currently in Amryn’s possession, displayed behind the bar at the Laughing Halfling.
